Ann Bilyew, Chief Executive Officer
Ann Bilyew served as a Board member to MDeverywhere for 5 years and recently joined the company full-time as its Chief Executive Officer. Bilyew has 10 years of venture capital and healthcare operations experience.
Before joining MDeverywhere, she served as partner in the Boston region of Advent International. Bilyew has led or managed Advent's investments in companies including Health Hero Network Inc., Impliant Ltd., MDeverywhere Inc., Med e-Manager Corp., MedVantx and Millimed Holdings Inc. Prior, she was a managing director at Health Business Partners, a boutique investment bank and venture capital fund focused on healthcare. Her portfolio companies included More.com and Integrative Medicine Communications. Prior to Health Business Partners, Bilyew spent five years with APM Inc., a large healthcare-oriented strategic consulting firm. As a project manager, she led a number of large turnaround and restructuring projects at premier medical centers. In a subsequent role as director of business development for CSC Healthcare, she was responsible for the firm's acquisition and alliance strategy, investments in evolving technologies, marketing and sales, major client strategy and new market development.
Bilyew received a BS degree, with highest distinction, from the University of Kansas and a Masters of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
David T. Fetterolf, President
David Fetterolf is the founder and president of MDeverywhere. Fetterolf has 17 years of experience working for healthcare information technology and service companies.
Prior to founding MDeverywhere, Fetterolf was the president of Datamedic’s physician office division. Datamedic was a leading provider of computer-based patient records and business management software and services for medical practices and clinics. As division president, he was responsible for the division’s strategy and financial performance, which included leading the marketing, sales, implementation, support, manufacturing and development departments. Fetterolf’s technology experience also include serving as national sales manager for I-Bus Systems, an industrial computer company, and as a hardware engineer for NCR Corporation, where he participated in the development of one of the company’s mainframe computers.
Fetterolf earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Cornell University and a Masters of Business Administration from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Susan Borgida, Senior Vice President Client Services
Susan Robertson Borgida has joined MDeverywhere as Senior Vice President of Operations. In this role, Susan will oversee all functions related to customer account management, patient services and implementation.
Susan has over 20 years of management experience in the healthcare field. Before joining MDeverywhere, she served as the Vice President of Medical Delivery Systems for United Healthcare’s New York Region. In this role, Susan led hospital contracting, directed physician reimbursement strategies and provider relations, and managed supporting operational departments. She also held a similar position for Oxford Health Plans.
Prior to her managed care experience, Susan was a partner in American Group Practice, a physician consulting and recruitment firm and a Senior Manager in the health care consulting practice of Deloitte & Touche. She also held various management positions for Humana Inc. in systems support and business planning.
Susan received her MBA and bachelor’s degrees from the University of Louisville.
Doug Salas, Vice President of Development
Doug Salas is MDeverywhere’s Director of Product Development. Doug has over 12 years of software development experience in healthcare systems. Before joining MDeverywhere, Doug spent 8 years with Cardinal Health (formerly Pyxis Corporation) in the software development, EDI and field engineering areas. Doug earned a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Maryland.
Jeff Modestino, Vice President of Finance
Jeff Modestino has joined MDeverywhere as the Vice President of Finance. In this role, Jeff will be responsible for all of the finance and accounting functions at the company.
Jeff has more than 16 years of experience in Accounting and Finance. Before joining MDeverywhere, Jeff most recently served as the Corporate Controller for the Haemonetics Corporation, a publicly traded healthcare company. In this role, he was responsible for both the Controllership and the Financial Planning and Analysis functions at the company. Prior to Haemonetics, Jeff spent several years at the Polymedica Corporation. Polymedica was a publicly traded healthcare company that is currently a division of Medco Health Solutions. While at Polymedica, Jeff served as both the Director of Corporate Development and the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis.
Jeff earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Bentley College and a Masters of Business Administration from the FW Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College.
Karen Danish, Senior Vice president AHMS Division
Ms. Danish has supervised studies in the analysis, design, and implementation of operating systems for health care institutions, as well as hospital-based and non-hospital-based physician group practices. She has managed and participated in multi and single specialty group practice projects, development of Practice Plans and group practices, feasibility studies, vendor selection, coding, practice management services and business review preparation. She has provided facility management for several large multi-specialty hospital-based group practices, as well as private group practices. She has conducted feasibility studies and supervised the implementation of single specialty hospital-based group practice conversions to a fee-for-service setting. Ms. Danish has analyzed and reviewed physician accounts receivable problems, including identification and documentation of weakness in manual as well as automated systems, and recommendations for change. She has supervised operational reviews, medical record documentation and coding reviews, resulting in recommendations to maximize reimbursement, and improve cash flow. She has also supervised teaching physician and private practice compliance program reviews. Ms. Danish has substantial line management experience as she served in a senior management capacity in the ambulatory accounts department of a major New York metropolitan medical center. Ms. Danish formerly served with Booz, Allen, & Hamilton Management Consultants, and is a former consultant to the Ambulatory Care and Group Practice Management Division of Peat, Marwick, Mitchell. Ms. Danish has a Master’s Degree from Brooklyn College.
Jackie Mayer, Vice-President of Managed Care and Credentialing AHMS Division
Ms. Mayer has over twenty years experience in the healthcare industry from both provider and health plan perspectives. She has held management positions with large regional and national health plans utilizing skills in provider relations, contract negotiation, network development and credentialing. As Director of Provider Relations with HIP, Ms. Mayer created HIP’s first network of skilled nursing facilities and freestanding ambulatory surgery centers in New York. She was also an integral part of the team, which worked to successfully bring HIP its first NCQA Accreditation by building a facility credentialing process. While serving as Long Island Network Manager at Aetna US Healthcare, Ms. Mayer was responsible for hospital, ancillary facility and allied health network development, contracting and credentialing for Nassau, Suffolk, Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island. Facility networks included ambulatory surgery centers, skilled nursing facilities, dialysis centers, radiology centers, home care and durable medical equipment vendors. Most recently, Ms. Mayer has turned her focus on assisting provider practices and facilities in health plan participation, reimbursement analysis and operational issues impacting revenue. In managing the Credentialing Application Production product, she has the expertise and systems to assist practices of any size in meeting all of their health plan application needs. Ms. Mayer holds a Masters Degree in Health Administration.
Yvette Barchat, Vice President of Practice Management and Compliance & Coding AHMS Division
Ms. Barchat has more than 15 years experience in the Healthcare Industry. Ms. Barchat has held management positions with large healthcare practices utilizing skills in human resource management, capital projects, financial management, credentialing, and operations. Ms. Barchat previously served as the Lead Practice Management Administrator at Women’s Health USA, Long Island Division. Her major responsibility was to oversee the operation of the regional facility, which represented 90 plus providers under the Women’s Health New York Management umbrella. She was accountable for the operating budget, annual billings, and the administrative staff. Her recent accomplishments include improving operational efficiencies and throughput, support healthcare interoperability through networking, systems integration, and electronic medical recording. Ms. Barchat holds a Doctor of Medicine Degree from the Universidad Central del Este in the Dominican Republic.
Marsha Sherman, Senior Manager, Practice Management AHMS Division
Ms Sherman has more than 30 years experience in the healthcare industry. Ms. Sherman has extensive knowledge in all aspects of physician practice operations including front-end activities, billing, collections and account receivable management. She also has comprehensive knowledge and experience with physician credentialing including: completion and submission of applications to obtain provider numbers from major insurance companies. Ms. Sherman has assisted in the development of Business Plans for free standing multi specialty practices and with the development and implementation of HIPAA and Corporate Compliance Programs for physician group practices. Ms. Sherman has conducted operational and billing reviews for hospital based practices and specialty private group practices, implementing procedures and protocols that have provided for effective practice operations and efficient workflow. Ms. Sherman has provided on-site practice management for large multi-specialty hospital-based group practices, as well as smaller private practices and has successfully streamlined processes and increased cash flow.
Michelle Springer - Director of Human Resources
Michelle Springer has joined MDeverywhere as Director of Human Resources. Michelle has more than 14 years of Human Resources management experience. Ms. Springer has extensive knowledge of all aspects of Human Resources operations, including employee development, leadership training, performance management, talent management, benefits, etc. Most recently she worked at Carrington Mortgage Holdings, a California based mortgage company. Prior to Carrington Mortgage she managed the HR functions for several other companies each with over 500 employees. Springer holds a bachelor's degree in Journalism from Boston University.
